irv@carbonfree.co.za

www.carbonfree.co.za

Our recycled billboard designs are locally sourced which reduces air miles, energy and packaging, whilst supporting the local CMT industry. We are also able to design bespoke recycled designs that are brand (FMCG vs Hospitality) and event specific. All the designs can be branded either by embroidery or a sew-in label. We also up-skill and train a Lanseria-based community called Refilwe, thus supporting the NGO through the design of our products. Our products are low waste in that we recycle waste billboard pvc destined for the landfill or that will not be re-flighted ; over-burdened landfills are usually located in the poorer communities and thus we are able to showcase the positive impact that recycling can have on these communities. As we process the billboards close to the point of source and utilise minimal virgin materials, we conserve energy as well, as the billboard is directly converted into new products. Finally, our recycled billboard products contribute to Green Goal 2010 as we help divert waste from our landfills and reduce the associated carbon footprint, imperative given that our footprint will be nearly 10 times that of Fifa 2006!
