Event Greening Training


Another Event Greening Training course was hosted by icologie on 21 June in Cape Town.  The course discussed the importance of event greening, and our responsibility as organisers in the industry to host green events. Several project case studies were used as examples.

Adrienne Fromage, Procurement Manager of NH The Lord Charles hotel, also attended the course.  The Lord Charles is the main venue for the SAACI 2011 Conference that will take place at the end of July.  Adrienne shared several interesting green interventions that are already happening at the hotel.

In the photo Grace Stead of icologie shows Adrienne how you venues, exhibitors, etc. can reduce their energy consumption by replacing incandescent bulbs with energy efficient bulbs.
