Founding Members:
The South African events industry took a significant step towards sustainability at Meetings Africa 2011 when eight representatives from key associations gathered to pledge their support as founding members of the Event Greening Forum (EGF), and added their signatures to the EGF’s draft constitution. The founding member associations are the:
- MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) Academy incorporating the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Network SA,
- Exhibitions & Events Association of South Africa (EXSA),
- Federated Hospitality Association of South Africa (FEDHASA),
- International Festivals & Events Association Africa (IFEA Africa),
- Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI),
- Southern African Tourism Services Association (SATSA),
- South African Roadies Association, and
- Technical Production Services Association (TPSA).
Management Committee for 2013:
The following people were elected at the AGM to serve on the Management Committee for the year ahead.
They have committed their time to actively support and promote the co-ordination of the EGF.

The Southern Team operates in Cape Town to assist with local events and awareness raising.
